Legoland
Legoland is a theme park located in Windsor. Marketed towards children, the resort and theme park’s theme is based off of the famous Lego toys. The park opened in 1996 on the grounds that were once the site of the Windsor Safari Park. It is consistent with other Legolands around the world. All of these parks include building workshops and themed rides.
With close to 60 attractions, rides and events, Legoland is the perfect resort and theme park to enjoy with the entire family and also create a lifetime of memories.
Miniland
No trip to Legoland would be complete without a visit to Miniland. This is a miniature park within the theme park that depicts different towns and cities across the globe with Lego. The models in Miniland are built on a 1:20 scale. Most of the models within Miniland interact with each other. For example, the train system operates on a rail system and cables are used to manoeuvre the motor vehicles.
There are many familiar scenes from Europe and the United States that are so well designed you will immediately recognise them. You will feel as though you are a giant passing over the London Eye and towering above the Canary Wharf.
The Beginning
This is the entrance to the theme park, and visitors can access this area before the park opens to the public. There are a few attractions located in this themed area such as the Windsor Safari Park and the Hill Train. The Hill Train travels between this area and Lego City.
There is room for wheelchairs and the entire trip does not last longer than 2 minutes.
The youngest of tourists will enjoy the Play Town area, and older children will enjoy spending time at the Pirates Training Camp. Its design is similar to a pirate ship and it is a multi functioning climbing area. There are a plenty of ropes to climb and slides for sliding.

Enchanted Forest
After visiting all of the rides and thrilling themed parks, you may want to take a break and enjoy some quiet time. Take some time to enjoy a picnic in the Enchanted Forest. Watch the animals in a natural habitat while eating your lunch. This is the ultimate oasis of peace and tranquillity in a park that is often very crowded and noisy.
You and your kids can spend time trying to decide what is real and what is not real in the Enchanted Forest. See if you can spot the spiders, rabbits and birds that are built from Lego.
At Legoland, children will be able to be active participants in the entertainment since the majority of the themed parks are hands on. They can soar through the skies, grab adventure on the roads or ride the seas.
Interactive rides, attractions and live shows help to set this 150 acres of parkland apart, and have helped to create a unique family theme park.
